SUBJECT: Affiliate Lesson #1 - What Is Affiliate Marketing Anyways?

Affiliate marketing is basically a
win-win scenario where a company like
Amazon pays you to promote their
products.
They're already spending millions of
dollars a year on advertising and often
times it's not very effective. So why
not take some of that money and use it
to pay people like us to do the dirty
work for them?
Well that's exactly what the affiliate
program intends to do.
Once you create an affiliate account
with Amazon you can pick a product and
begin promoting it in any way you
choose.
Every time a product gets sold as a
result of your blogging or website
efforts you'll be compensated anywhere
from 2-8% depending on the product
niche.
The best part of the whole process is
that once you do it for one product,
repeating the procedure over and over
again becomes a cinch.
In a matter of days you could be
promoting hundreds of products and
raking in anywhere from 2-8% of the
purchase price each time one is sold.
So what are you waiting for? You've got
nothing to lose and everything to gain.
To get started just go to
www.amazon.com and scroll down to the
very bottom. Where it says Make Money
With Us, click on Join Associates.
From there you'll have to fill out
several forms but in a matter of
seconds you'll be a member of Amazon's
affiliate program.
If you want to learn what to do once
you've become an affiliate then check
out my 16 part video series that will
teach you how to begin generating an
income today. Stay tuned because in the
next email I'll be discussing how to
decide on a product/niche to begin
promoting.

Affiliate Lesson #2 - Deciding On A Product/Niche To Promote
SUBJECT: Affiliate Lesson #2 - Deciding On A Product/Niche To Promote
{!firstname_fix}
As I mentioned in the previous email
this time I'll be talking about
choosing a product/niche to begin
promoting.
This is a very important topic for
several reasons.
First off, every niche inside of Amazon
comes with a different compensation
rate.
Electronics are generally a lower
percentage but you have to factor in
that the purchase price is much higher.
So if the compensation rate is 2% on a
television and it costs $800, then you
would make $16 off of every sale.
Once you start generating traffic to
your site you can see how this can
easily add up to a substantial amount
of money every day, for doing only a
few minutes worth of work!
Secondly, you'll likely want to choose
a niche that's hot at the particular
moment.
TV's, mp3 players, and phones are
always hot so if you go with any of
these items you shouldn't have any
problem generating and converting
traffic to sales.
Also, if you have expertise in a
particular niche then it will be much
easier for you to write informative
articles on the products and broaden
your marketing horizons.
Once you've decided on a niche then
you'll have to begin creating a simple
website to promote it.
In my 16 part video series I'll walk
you step by step through the affiliate
marketing process from start to finish.

immediately!

Affiliate Lesson #3 - 5 Tips For Creating A Successful Blog Post
SUBJECT: Affiliate Lesson #3 - 5 Tips For Creating A Successful Blog Post
{!firstname_fix}
As promised in the last email this time
I'm going to give you five tips for
creating a successful blog post.
So why can't you just write whatever
comes to mind and expect it to grab
your potential customer's attention?
Well first off, a lot of the
information on the internet today is
fluff.
Fluff is basically just a slang term
for filler or senseless content.
People try and fill up space so it
looks like there's lots of information
in the post but in reality there may
really be only one sentence in the
entire post that provides any
information.
If you're constantly posting fluff then
your blog's not going to see much
traffic, and certainly won't have many
followers.
To combat this here's a few tips that
if followed will result in a successful
blog post every time.
1.Write your posts as short and
eloquent as possible. It's been said
that if it takes you a large amount of
words to explain something then you
probably don't understand it very well.
Keep this point in mind at all times;
you want your post to be short and
sweet.
2.Keep your posts written to a lower
reading level. You want your blog to be
accessible to as many people as
possible, so if it's written to a
university graduate reading level then
you've just closed yourself off to a
massive audience.
3.Jam pack your post with useful
information about the product including
specs, reviews, testimonials, etc.
4.Include the price of the product
you're promoting in the post. There's
nothing more annoying than when someone
rambles on about a product and then
when you get to the end they don't even
disclose how much it costs.
5.Don't forget to provide your amazon
affiliate link. You've put a ton of
effort into creating a blog and then
writing a post, the last thing you want
to do is to miss out on a sale. Always
check your blog posts to make sure the
link is there and active.
If you want to learn more about
affiliate marketing through Amazon then
I suggest you check out my 16 part
video series which has everything you
need to know, and can be found by

Affiliate Lesson #4 - Promoting Your Website
SUBJECT: Affiliate Lesson #4 - Promoting Your Website
{!firstname_fix}
In the last email we discussed 5 tips
for writing a successful blog post.
Now that you have a blog set up and are
starting to add content to it you want
to start generating a steady flow of
traffic to your site.
There are numerous ways to generate
traffic but here I'll discuss a few of
the main ones.
First off is through a method called
social networking. Basically this is a
way of promoting your blog through
websites like Facebook, MySpace,
Twitter, etc.
There are two ways to go about this,
you can either create a personal
account or you can create a Facebook
group. Both methods allow you to do
basically the same things but the group
method allows you to have an unlimited
number of people following you. I'm
pretty sure with the personal account
you can only have a maximum of 5000
friends, so in most cases you'll
probably want to create a Facebook
group.
The Facebook group has many of the same
capabilities as your blog. You can
upload audio and video content to
YouTube and then link it to your wall,
or you can post articles, pictures etc.
directly to your wall.
The beauty of the Facebook group is
that you have the opportunity to reach
hundreds of millions of people all in
one place simply by inviting them to
join your group.
The next way to promote your blog is by
submitting SEO articles to websites
like ezinearticles.com. SEO stands for
search engine optimization. In relation
to articles this means to write the
article using certain keywords
repeatedly throughout the text.
So if your target niche is plasma
televisions then you'd want to write an
article using that phrase as much as
possible while still providing an
informative article. A lot of SEO
writers try to get in the 3-5% range of
keywords to total words. So for a 500
word article that would mean you'd want
to use the phrase between 20 and 25
times.
These are just a few of the many ways
to promote your blog, and you can find
out more through my 16 part video
series on making money through Amazon's
affiliate marketing program, which I've
provided the link to at the bottom of
this email.
Stay tuned for our final email where
I'll summarize the affiliate marketing
process and show you just how easy it
is to start generating cash in just a
few hours.

Affiliate Lesson #5 - The Process From Start To Finish
SUBJECT: Affiliate Lesson #5 - The Process From Start To Finish
{!firstname_fix}
As promised in the previous email I'd
be talking about the affiliate marketing
process from start to finish.
As you'll see it's very simple and
after you've done it once it's a
cakewalk to reproduce over and over
again with as many products as you'd
like.
So first off, you want to sign up for
an Amazon affiliate account.
Once you're signed up you want to
browse around and decide upon a
particular niche of products to promote
based on compensation and any expertise
you might have in that area. As you do
this for more and more products you'll
probably be able to diversify into
niches you have no knowledge of, but in
the beginning it's best to start with
products you're familiar with.
Once you've decided on a product to
promote it's now time to create a blog
devoted solely to that particular
product or niche. In order to do this
you'll have to purchase a domain name
and decide on a hosting account. This
is really the only monetary investment
you need to make. A domain name will
likely cost you less than a dollar a
month to purchase, and hosting is
usually somewhere in the $10 per month
range but you'll be able to host an
unlimited amount of domain names.
After you create your blog you then
have to begin posting content to it.
This can be in the form of an article,
a video or audio post, or better yet, a
combination of all three.
Once you have content on your blog all
you have to do is start generating
traffic. This is simple in today's day
and age where almost everybody is on
some sort of social networking site. So
all you have to do is create an account
on one of these sites and start asking
people to come check out your blog.
Once you get traffic coming to your
site it will increase exponentially and
in a matter of a few hours you can
start converting people to sales.
Affiliate marketing through Amazon is
literally that easy.
But I want to mention that in each of
these steps there are plenty of areas
where you can maximize your returns and
ensure you're going to convert
potential buyers to sales.
If you want to learn about each step in
depth, as well as gain many useful tips
along the way, then I would suggest you
check out my 16 part video series on
affiliate marketing through Amazon. It
contains a step by step walk through of
the entire process as well as proven
techniques that will ensure you convert
as many people to sales as possible.
It's a small investment that will pay
for itself hundreds of times over once
you learn the information contained
within.
